Our attendance is up!! Congratulations Rotarians! But, if you miss a meeting remember to get a make up! . Not only does making up a meeting help our attendance, but it is great fellowship. If you are going on vacation or just out of town for a few days and you are going to miss our regular meeting, give Marsha a call at the office where she will b happy to look up the information on the nearest Rotary Club where you will be . Or you can check out the Rotary International Web site.

WEEKLY WORDS OF WISDOM:
If you want happiness for an hour, take a nap.  If you want happiness for a day, go fishing.  If you want happiness for a month,
get married.  If you want happiness for a year, inherit a fortune.  If you want happiness for a lifetime, help someone else.

MEMBER BIRTHDAYS
Feb. 24th - Melanie Upson CI: Organizational Analyst. Melanie has been a Rotarian for 2 years, joining our club in Nov. 2001.

BIRTHDAY FUND/JCC SCHOLARSHIPS

The Birthday Fund provides funding to our Scholarships at JCC. If you are having a birthday, or have had one recently, do not forget to donate to the Birthday Fund. With your donations, we were able to award six scholarships to Jefferson Community College this year. Do you know that as a Rotarian, if you have children or grandchildren attending JCC, they will be considered for one of the scholarships if they meet the criteria?

The Office now has applications for our scholarships to JCC. The scholarship criteria calls for preference for the award to be given to someone related to a Rotarian. If any of our members has a family member attending JCC in the fall and would like an application, please contact Marshal. There are six scholarships. Applications must be filled out and returned to the Financial Aid office at JCC  by March 31, 2003!

Thanks to Paula Roukous for her recent donation.

Card Game and 50/50

We are looking for the 9 of Clubs. The pot is at $268.00. Paula Roukous drew the 7 of Clubs and donated it. The blue card game raffle may only be played by our club members. Tickets are 3 for $2.00 or $1.00 each. The Red 50/50 Raffle game may be played by all.
